The graduate of this modular educational program is awarded the academic degree "Bachelor of Engineering and Technology"

Bachelors of engineering and technology have the following key competencies:

1) in native language 

• is able to express and understand concepts, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the field of mechanical engineering in written and oral forms (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and interact linguistically appropriately and creatively in all the diversity of social and cultural contexts: during studies, at work, at home and at leisure.

2) in foreign languages

• owns the basic communication skills in English: is able to understand, express and interpret concepts, facts and opinions both in the field of mechanical engineering in oral and in written form (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in a corresponding series of social and cultural contexts; has the skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.

3) fundamental mathematical, natural scientific and technical training

• is able and ready to apply the educational potential, experience and personal qualities acquired during the study of mathematical, natural and technical disciplines in higher education, to determine the ways, to control and evaluate the solution of professional problems, the development of mathematical and natural-science thinking.

4) computer

• is able to confidently and critically use modern information technologies for work, leisure and communication, has the skills of using, restoring, evaluating, storing, producing, presenting and exchanging information through the computer, communicating and participating in collaborative networks using the Internet in the field of professional activities.

• is able to develop measurement techniques;
• is able to apply methods to control the quality of products and objects in the field of professional activity, to analyze the causes of technological processes in engineering and to develop measures to prevent them.

Bachelors of engineering and technology on the educational trajectory «5В073201 «Standardization, certification and metrology in industry» own the following special competencies:

• to be able to apply the skills of designing, calculating and selecting standard landings when designing and solving technical problems;
• to be able to create drawings in CAD systems COMPASS and AutoCAD.
• to have skills in developing measurement techniques;
• to have the skills to update the standards applied at the enterprise and other normative documents in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, to control the performance of standardization work by the enterprise subdivisions, to develop measures for corrective and preventive actions, to control the effectiveness of the measures taken;
• to be able to determine the parameters of the projected objects, to make up block-hierarchical structures, to describe them with the help of software, to solve the entire complex of issues related to the design and development of the technological process, to understand well the mathematical, methodological and technical support of CAD;
• to be able to evaluate metrological and other characteristics of measuring instruments, accuracy and reliability of measurement results and measuring devices,have practical skills in processing the results of measurement instrument errors

• to have skills in developing methods for measuring agricultural products;
• to have the skills to update the standards applied at the enterprise and other normative documents in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, to control the performance of standardization work by the enterprise subdivisions, to develop measures for corrective and preventive actions, to control the effectiveness of the measures taken;
• to be able to evaluate metrological and other characteristics of measuring instruments, accuracy and reliability of measurement results and measuring devices, have practical skills in processing the results of measurement instrument errors
