Students master IT technologies in the agricultural sector
The teachers and students of the Agrotechnological Faculty have met with representatives of the IT company Egistic. This company is developing an online farm management system that is designed for agronomists, and farmers who want to make it easier to control their crops. Now the system is used by more than 100 agricultural enterprises in Kazakhstan with a total area of more than 1,000,000 hectares. This online system can simplify many agricultural processes: crop rotation, agrochemical soil analysis, analysis of active temperatures and precipitation, weather forecast for 14 days within the radius of the farm, etc.
Technologies do not stand still, and so do our students, who continue to study all the subtleties and possibilities of the future profession. Business Director of Egistic Diana Kabdusheva has shared her experience with the students, and has spoken about the organization, its functionality and team, as well as how they can be useful
