At a meeting with the university administration and medical institutions of the North Kazakhstan region, Dr. Sandro Vento said he is ready to share his experience in using robotics and artificial intelligence in medicine. He is also focused on further cooperation. A start has already been made. This year, our university won a large scientific project with program-targeted funding. The project is for the development and implementation of high-tech solutions for monitoring, cleaning, and rational use of water resources in the North Kazakhstan region to ensure public health. Professor Vento is part of the pool of international experts for this project. He will provide consultations on epidemiology related to groundwater and surface water.
Next year, Kozybayev University plans to open a double-degree program in medicine together with the University of Arizona. Attracting an international specialist of this level will give new momentum to the development of medical education in the region.
