Making the campus cleaner together!
Making the campus cleaner. More than 70 students of Kozybayev University, together with teachers, staff of the SKO branch of the "AMANAT" party, and the Youth Resource Center of Petropavlovsk, took part in the "Taza Beisenbi" ("Clean Thursday") campaign conducted as part of the "Taza Qazaqstan" ("Clean Kazakhstan") national project. The participants cleaned up trash along the alley near the dormitories.
"When we announced this initiative to hold a volunteer clean-up day (subbotnik) on the territory of the campus, many caring young people from various faculties responded. They perfectly understand what a clean city and comfortable spaces mean. Recently, in his Address, the Head of State emphasized once again that forming a unified standard of environmental education is very important for Kazakhstan as a whole. And today we have taken another step towards launching this standard not only in theory but also in practice," noted Alexander Zel, Executive Secretary of the "Bolashaq" branch of the "AMANAT" party.
The "Taza Beisenbi" campaign has been held every week in Petropavlovsk and the regions of the province since June of last year. During this time, its participants have already collected about 150 tons of trash. Work is carried out in coastal zones, mass recreation areas, near monuments and obelisks, as well as near settlements.
