Congratulations to Aida Aubakirova on Earning a PhD Degree

Aida Aubakirova, a lecturer at the Department of Practical Kazakh Language, has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree after successfully completing her doctoral studies at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in the educational program “8D01717 – Kazakh Language and Literature” under the university’s targeted grant program.

Aida Erkenovna successfully defended her dissertation entitled “New Terms in the Kazakh Language: Formation and Functioning (Theoretical and Methodological Aspect).” The study focused on a comprehensive analysis of the ways new terms are formed in the Kazakh language, the specific features of their use, their development, linguistic nature, as well as their theoretical and methodological foundations. Particular attention was given to the theoretical and linguodidactic analysis of the functioning of new terms in modern Kazakh in academic and educational contexts.

The dissertation research was supervised by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Sherubai Kurmanbaiuly.
