Student Dormitories at Kozybayev University Inspected for Readiness for Student Move-In

Comfort, safety and infrastructure — everything students need after a busy academic day should be more than just a promise; it should be a real standard. That is why, ahead of the new academic year, the university’s student dormitories underwent a thorough inspection.

The monitoring was conducted by Erlan Abilkarimov, Anti-Corruption Compliance Specialist at Polyclinic No. 1; Azhar Balakhmetova, representative of the Sanaly Urpaq Project Office; and Nargiz Kyrgyzbay, Student Ombudsman of Kozybayev University.

Board Member Adilkhan Tolbergen, together with the dormitory supervisors, showed the monitoring group Dormitory No. 3 Dostyk, with a capacity of 360 students; Dormitory No. 10 Birlik, with a capacity of 258 students; as well as the Shanyrak and Yntymak dormitories, with a total capacity of 1,200 students.

Safety begins right at the entrance: access to the dormitories is provided through a Face ID system.

And beyond that, everything is designed for comfortable student life:

• renovated living rooms and kitchen areas;
• modern shower rooms, washrooms, restrooms and laundry facilities;
• self-study rooms;
• coworking spaces;
• a table tennis area;
• fitness rooms.

Ahead of the new academic year, renovation work was carried out in the dormitories: shower cabins were modernized, while kitchens, corridors, sanitary facilities and living rooms were renovated.

The result of the monitoring: Kozybayev University’s dormitories are fully ready to welcome students.

The new academic year begins not only with new knowledge, but also with a new space where students will live, study, make friends and create their own university memories.
