WELCOME DAY for Pedagogical Class Participants
The launch of Pedagogical Classes in the North Kazakhstan Region is an important initiative aimed at helping school students explore their professional interests, develop an interest in teaching, and prepare future leaders in education.
The initiative involves five schools in the districts named after Gabit Musrepov and Shal akyn, as well as Kyzylzhar District.
Under a memorandum of cooperation between the University and the Petropavl City Department of Education, two Pedagogical Classes with Kazakh- and Russian-language instruction have been established at Kozybayev University for school students from Petropavl. Today, more than 60 students in grades 9–11 visited the University on an educational tour.
At the University Museum, the students learned about the University's history, which dates back to 1937, its achievements and prominent figures. They also visited modern laboratories and classrooms in the Educational and Laboratory Building (ELC). At the library, participants were introduced to the resources available to them during their studies in the Pedagogical Classes. In addition, the students observed the organisation of the educational process and teacher–student interaction during a large lecture.
The Pedagogical Class project is more than just theory; it is a practical step towards making an informed career choice. School students from Petropavl and the region are already taking part in practical and interactive sessions that help them explore the world of teaching.
Today's event provided prospective applicants with an excellent opportunity to get to know the University, experience the atmosphere of student life, interact with academic staff, and discover that teaching is a vocation offering broad career prospects.
