Tolebay Kosiyabekovich Rakhypbekov, Honorary Professor at M. Kozybayev SKU, delivered an open lecture on spirituality and leadership

On November 2, 2026, an open lecture titled "Spirituality and Leadership" was held at the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University. Tolebay Kosiyabekovich Rakhypbekov, a Kazakhstani physician and scholar, addressed students and staff from the Faculty of Medicine. The event was part of a series of activities dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Manash Kozybayev.

Also in attendance was Ilyas Manashevich Kozybayev – a Kazakhstan historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, and Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He continues the scholarly legacy of his father, Academician Manash Kabashevich Kozybayev.

Tolebay Kosiyabekovich spoke about kindness and the willingness to offer selfless help to others. He illustrated this concept with an everyday example, suggesting that one should greet another person with the same warmth one would show a friend after a long separation. For future physicians, this topic is particularly relevant; showing genuine attention to an individual from the very first moments of an interaction helps establish a relationship of trust with a patient.

Tolebay Kosiyabekovich Rakhypbekov is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, a professor, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the president of the "Primary Health Care" National Association. He earned his PhD in Japan and serves as a professor at Shimane University (Japan) and a visiting professor at Manav Bharti University (India). Additionally, he holds a qualification as a Master Practitioner of NLP from Erickson College (Vancouver, Canada).

On October 28, 2026, the Academic Council of M. Kozybayev SKU awarded Tolebay Kosiyabekovich the «Manash Kozybayev» medal for his contributions to the university's development and conferred upon him the title of Honorary Professor of M. Kozybayev SKU.

The university community congratulates Tolebay Kosiyabekovich on receiving this award and the honorary title, and expresses its gratitude for his meeting with the students and staff of the faculty.
