On the Competition for the Title “Best University Teacher – 2026”
Dear Faculty Members,
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the launch of the annual National Competition “Best University Teacher – 2026”. The Competition is held in accordance with the Rules for Awarding the Title “Best University Teacher”, which are available at the link.
The Competition is open to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are full-time faculty members of the university and have at least five years of continuous academic and teaching experience as of the date of application.
The Competition is held in two stages:
Stage I – University level: November 6–18, 2026. Applicants submit their documents electronically through the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan: universitycontest2026.kz.
Appeals on the results of Stage I: November 19–20, 2026.
Stage II – National level: December 1–12, 2026.
To participate in Stage I, applicants must submit:
- An application for participation in the Competition in the form set out in Appendix 1 to the Rules;
- Information on qualitative and quantitative indicators in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Rules, with supporting documents for the past 5 years (2022–2026), except for indicators with specific time periods stated;
- An annual work plan and schedule for 2026–2027 in accordance with Appendix 3 to the Rules;
- A personnel record form;
- A copy of an identity document.
