Types of professional activity:
- educational: to conduct musical lessons and out-of-class musical lessons, to conduct pedagogical control over the musical development of schoolchildren;
- experimental and research: on a scientific basis, using modern information and educational technologies, organize their pedagogical activity; once a year, monitor and measure the level of musical development of students; to conduct a pedagogical experiment based on the set educational and educational tasks; to make presentations in the press or to the pedagogical community about the results in their pedagogical activities;
- organizational and managerial: to carry out teaching and educational work in the process of teaching the subject of music; to organize out-of-class educational musical work and musical circles on interests of students; to conduct cultural and educational activities among children and young people in general education institutions of various types;
- educational and technological: to apply effective educational technologies at music lessons, to perform the functions of class teacher, organizer, educator, propagandist in musical and artistic work with schoolchildren;

The content of the professional activity: a quality organization and management of teaching process, focus on the active development of studying methods of cognitive activity, the personal significance of education, the orientation of the whole educational process on the identity of the student, providing the possibility of its self-discovery and self-realization, the use of various teaching technologies, creation of favorable conditions for self-education and professional orientation of students, psychologically and methodologically correct ie the construction of teaching activities, planning their own professional actions, taking into account the objective laws and the modern requirements for music education.
