The professional activities' sphere: the process of socialization and personal development of children and youth in educational institutions, special (correctional) educational organizations, institutions of penitentiary type, rehabilitation centers.

The objects of professional activities: government agencies (the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provincial departments for the protection of children's rights), institutions of social orientation (social welfare agencies, support and assistance to the unemployed, low-income, disabled, able-bodied restriction), educational institutions in the public and private funding (POs education, schools, children's homes, boarding schools, special education institutions); institutions linked with the problems of education and development of the younger generation in the social environment (correction and rehabilitation centers, special schools, children's receivers, colonies); institutions connected with the organization of children's leisure and support children's art, full socialization and personal development of the young generation (non-governmental organizations, children's clubs, schools, summer camps).

Types of professional actiities:

• social and pedagogical - providing humanitarian and educational support to vulnerable categories of the population: people with disabilities, migrant families, socially disadvantaged families; assistance in creating favorable conditions for their full life;
• training and educational - personal development and socialization of children, adolescents and young people, the organization of the process of education and training, management of the pedagogical process, diagnosis, correction, forecasting the results of educational activities, study, compile, disseminate good innovative practices in the field of social pedagogy and self-knowledge;
• cultural and educational - the organization of cultural and leisure work with children, adolescents and young people in film, theater, art and fine art, music, programming, techniques and technology education in the field of culture, organization of cultural and leisure centers, regulation of social and cultural the activities of groups of individuals by social norms, traditions, values, entrenched in social practice;
• organizational and methodological - the creation of centers and social services, research, compilation and dissemination of experience of social work organization in the population study of legislative and other legal acts;
• advertising and propaganda - to support, develop and promote socially significant ideas, traditions, social organization of advertising services; propaganda in the media ideas of social responsibility, community service;
• research - to help the younger man in self and self-fulfillment, the study features of the process of training, education, development and correction of children, adolescents and young people in need of social educator and teacher of self-knowledge;
• animating - building specific social models of social assistance and social protection, the introduction of social sciences and the humanities in teaching educators, and the general process of special (correctional) educational organizations.

Content of professional activity: social and educational activities in the educational and training institutions of various types, aiming to complete socialization and personal development of children, adolescents and young people, to promote the adoption of the community values ​​of social responsibility and public service.
