Content of professional activity:
а) in the field of organizational and managerial type of professional activity:
- the implementation of strategic management in the interests of society and the state (public service), including the setting of socially significant goals, the formation of conditions for their achievement, the organization of work to obtain the maximum possible results;
- carrying out of the analysis of an economic condition of branches of budgetary sector, the separate organizations, definition of economic consequences of the decisions prepared or made;
- the implementation of personnel policy and personnel audit, the formation of a team and the organization of teamwork, the ability to make maximum use of human resources, motivating and developing personnel in order to ensure the greatest effectiveness of their work;
- improving the work of the organization's employees on the basis of a personal example, the ability to learn and improve work based on experience and new ideas, leadership skills, the ability to make informed decisions, to convince in the expediency of these decisions and to implement decisions, evaluate the consequences of execution of decisions;
- organization of interaction with the external environment (other state bodies, organizations, citizens);
b) in the field of the administrative and technological type of professional activity:
- application of legislation, regulatory and legal procedures in administrative activities, including the preparation of draft normative legal acts, their feasibility study;
- optimization of business processes, maintenance of document circulation and business correspondence with citizens and external organizations, including in a foreign language;
c) in the field of consulting and information-analytical activities:
- advising state, non-profit and economic organizations;
- formation of databases, assessment of their completeness and quality, application of these data for expert evaluation of real administrative situations;
- application of computer technology, information and communication technologies, mathematical and statistical methods in solving management tasks, for information support of state and local government;
- development of administrative regulations, draft regulations of state and municipal employees, job responsibilities of employees of organizations;
d) in the field of project activities:
- compiling forecasts for the development of organizations, institutions and individual industries and enterprises, regions (taking into account existing social, environmental problems, compliance with security requirements);
- development of socio-economic development programs at the federal, regional and local levels;
- substantiation and analysis of the performance of social and economic programs, using the methods of project analysis;
- development of a feasibility study and determining the likely effectiveness of investment projects, including in the social sphere;
e) in the field of scientific research and pedagogical activity:
- participation in research works on problems of state and local government, preparation of reviews and analytical studies on specific topics of specialization;
- preparation and approbation of separate educational programs and courses, presentation of research results for other specialists;
- teaching of economic disciplines in general education institutions, educational institutions of higher professional and secondary vocational education, as well as in educational institutions of additional professional education (for masters of profile direction);
- teaching of economic disciplines in higher educational institutions (for masters of the scientific and pedagogical direction).
