Technological project for the development of equipment for the recovery and strengthening of products using highly concentrated sources of plasma energy
Head: Savinkin V.V., Candidate of Technical Sciences
Joint research is being carried out on the development and testing of an energy-efficient technology for the restoration of parts with "Remplazma" LLP (contract No. 07/01 of 07/01/2015). Analytical studies of diagnostic methods for highly loaded parts have been performed, the results of which substantiate the applicability of two non-destructive testing methods. Validated diagnostic methods were tested, the results of which compiled an act of introducing a methodology for predicting the residual life of highly loaded parts at "Remplazma" LLP.
Experimental studies of the non-destructive testing method for the detection of turbine blades were carried out, the results of which expanded the classification list of defects that require replacement with new ones or restoration of the blades (research protocol of "Remplazma" LLP). Experimental studies of plasma recovery of turbine blades were carried out, according to the results of which priority tasks were identified to improve the method and modernization of technological equipment of "Remplazma" LLP. Metallographic studies of the structure and phase composition of the reconditioned parts were carried out (test report No. 32 / 42-265 of "PZTM" JSC dated 09/28/2015).
The scientific novelty of the project lies in the integrated solution of the problems of controlling the quality of restoration and improving the physicomechanical and geometric properties of turbine blades using information and plasma technologies. Scientific novelty is also expressed in the development of the methodology and scientific foundations of non-destructive testing of the internal stresses of the blades and modern technologies of plasma recovery.
The expected technological effect of the project will be 13% due to the extension of the service life of the restored products. The expected economic effect will be 10-12% per year. Project profitability (ratio of net profit to project implementation costs) - 7-9%.
Social effect: the possibility of restoration work using plasma equipment manufactured in Kazakhstan, and the restoration of the blades without dismantling them from the turbine; job creation in remote areas of the republic; adjustment of resource-saving and long-term technologies for the restoration of previously rejected blades, promising for small and medium-sized TPPs and HPPs.
The project is carried out under the grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Development and implementation of energy-efficient technology for the restoration of the blades of complex geometry of steam and gas turbines of a combined heat and power plant with a highly concentrated source of plasma energy with an adaptive process control system” under contract No. 274 dated February 12, 2015 for the amount of 10 million tenge.
