The graduate of given modular educational program is assigned an academic degree of “Bachelor of Technique and Technologies” in specialty 5B070300 “Information systems”.

Bachelors of Technique and Technologies have the following key competencies in the field of:

1) native language (Kazakh or Russian)

to be able to express and understand notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the field of informatics in both written and oral ways (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and communicate linguistically in an appropriate way and artistically in all variety of social and cultural contexts: while studying, at work, at home and at leisure.

2) foreign languages

to have basic skills of communication in English language: to be able to understand, express and explain notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in both oral and written ways (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in an appropriate range of social and cultural contexts (in education and studying, at work, at home and at leisure). To have skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.

3) fundamental mathematical, natural scientific and technical knowledge

to be able and be ready to use educational potential, experience and personal qualities, gained during learning natural scientific disciplines at school, to determine methods of solving professional tasks and the development of natural scientific thinking, to control and estimate it.

4) computer knowledge

to be able to use modern information technologies for working, for leisure and communication confidently and critically, to have skills of using a computer for recuperation, presentation and information exchange, for talking and participating in cooperating companies with the help of Internet in the field of professional activities.

5) basic educational

to have basic knowledge in the field of mathematic disciplines, disciplines aimed to learning and engineering information systems (sciences), which help to form a broad-minded high-educated individuality; to realize a necessarity of constant studying, to be able to find achievable opportunities, to be able to aim and keep studying insistently;

6)social

to be able to follow norms of business ethics, to have a notion of ethic and legal norms of behavior;
to know traditions and culture of people of Kazakhstan;
to be tolerant to traditions and culture of world’s other nations;
knows the bases of a legal system and legislation of Kazakhstan;
knows about tendencies of social development of the society;
to be able to navigate adequately in various social situations;
to be able to work in team, to defend their point of view correctly, to offer new decisions;
to be able to find compromises, to correlate their opinion with a collective opinion;
to try to achieve professional and personal growth.

7) economic and management

to know and to understand purposes and methods of government regulation of economics, a role of government sector in economics;
to have the basics of economic knowledge, to have a scientific thought about management, marketing, finance, etc.
to have skills necessary for critical thinking, observancy, ability to interpretation, analysis, making conclusions, estimating.
to have a creativity qualities: an ability of turning from one aspect to another, an ability of sharing ideas different from obvious, generally known, accepted, trivial or firmly established, an ability of seeing the bottom of the problem, an ability of resisting stereotypes;

“Bachelors of Information System” of educational programs 5B070303 “Information systems in management”, 5B070305 “Information systems in Web-technologies and 5B070304 “Information system in financing activity” have the following special competencies:

to follow norms of business ethics, to know about ethic and legal norms of behavior;
to be tolerant to traditions and culture of world’s other nations;
to know about tendencies of a social development of the world;
an ability to live effectively and to function in social interaction: to change and to adapt to a discussion and to achieve a compliance with others;
to support relations in a professional society, to be socially responsible for the results of their own professional labor;
to be ready to achieve a necessary degree of a physical training for providing full social and professional activity;
to be able to work in a collective, to defend their point of view correctly, to suggest new solutions;
to be able to find compromises, to correlate their opinion with a collective opinion; to aim to professional and personal growth;
to be flexible and mobile in various conditions and situations, connected with a professional activity;
an ability to navigate in modern information flows and to adapt to dynamically changing phenomena and processes in a world economics;

5B070304 Information systems in a financing activity

to be ready to work with an availability and movement of assets, liabilities and capital;
to be able to analyze existing technology of automated data processing with the purpose of improving it;
to do an automated accounting in a system that meets the specific of a certain enterprise;
to be able to prepare presentations, to execute scientific-technical reports by the results of a work done, to publish results of researches in a form of articles and reports for a scientific-technical conferences in the field of financing activity.

5B070305 Information systems and Web-technologies

to be able to navigate in basic principles of difficult information systems, which can be combined with modern Web-technologies and have a personal experience of treating these systems adequately;
to be able to prepare presentations, to execute scientific-technical reports by the results of a work done, to publish results of researches in a form of articles and reports for a scientific-technical conferences in the field of Web-technologies.
