Art bachelors of 5B042100-Design specialty are masters of the following key qualities:
1) In the field of mother language
is capable of expressing and understanding of notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the area of design in written and oral form (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and also to interact in a linguistically appropriate way and creatively in all the diversity of social and cultural contexts: during studies, at work, at home and at leisure.
2) In the field of foreign languages
is a master of the main skills of communication of foreign language: is capable to understand, express and explain notions, facts and ideas not only of design, but also in written and oral form (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in appropriate range of social and cultural contexts. He has some skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.
3) Fundamental mathematical, natural science and technical preparation
is capable and ready to use educational potential, experience and personal characteristics acquired during learning of mathematical, natural science, technical subjects in high school, to identify the ways and check and estimate solving of professional tasks, development of mathematical and natural science intellection.
4) Computer
is capable of sure and critical using of modern information technologies for work, leisure and communication, has skills of using, recovery, evaluation, storage, production, presentation and exchange of information by dint of computer, communication and participation in cooperating nets through Internet in the sphere of professional activity.

- competent in knowing of methods of collection and formalization of pre-project material, fixation of existing position; sequence and character pf actions in process of projection (search-analysis-solving); requirements to decoration of project material;
- competent in skills of working with referential literature, to make basis diagrams, to identify sequence of project’s process, to make sketchy materials, to incarnate prepared project idea on demonstrative materials, to formalize project material in accordance with requirements (using modern program products) and correctly represent own work on presentation or protection;
- competent in skills of natural survey of object and analysis of situation: independent drafting of design task and works’ program, formation of creative conception and its mapping in preliminary sketches; compositional decision of common project’s exposition; color and graphical decision and making of layouts and models;

- are masters of methods of pre-project analysis;
- are masters of sketchy, manual and computer methods of material’s representation;
- own the main technical methods and computer programs appropriate to architectural design at a good level;
