The graduate of this modular educational program is awarded an academic degree "Bachelor of Agriculture"

Bachelors of Agriculture have the following key competencies:

1) in native language

• is able to express and understand concepts, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the field of forestry in written and oral forms (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and interact linguistically appropriately and creatively in the diversity of social and cultural contexts: during study, at work, at home and at leisure.

2) in foreign languages

• owns the basic communication skills English/German: is able to understand, express and interpret concepts, facts and opinions both in oral and written communication (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in a number of social and cultural contexts. Has the skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.

3) fundamental mathematical, scientific and technical training

• is able and ready to apply the educational potential, experience and personal qualities acquired during the study of mathematical, natural and technical disciplines in higher education, to determine the ways, to control and evaluate the solution of professional problems, the development of mathematical and natural-science thinking.

4) computer

• is able to confidently and critically use modern information technologies for work, leisure and communication, has the skills of using, restoring, evaluating, storing, producing, presenting and exchanging information through the computer, communicating and participating in collaborative networks using the Internet in the field of professional activities.

• knowledge of the role and importance of forests and forest resources in human life;
• knowledge of morphology, biology of woody and shrubby plants, the patterns of development of forest biogeocenoses, forest typology, the structure of forest resources, methods of thinning and the main use of the forest, ensuring its reproduction;
• knowledge of the methods of forest seed management, the organization of a permanent seed-forest base on the breeding-genetic basis, the methods and technology of growing the planting stock, ways of creating forest crops, protective and planting trees;
• ability to develop and implement projects of forest nurseries, forest cultures, forest melioration, cutting of forest management, forest management, mechanization of forestry operations, forest management;
• ability to tax the forest, control the forest management operations and make their acceptance;
• ability to organize and carry out works to protect forests from fires, wasting, unauthorized felling, as well as to combat pests and diseases of the forest;
• ability to organize and carry out work on the design, construction, overhaul and maintenance of landscape architecture, the reconstruction of green spaces and parks;
• to have skills: organization and management of all types of forestry, forestry, forest management, landscaping, forest melioration and acceptance of the work performed.

• knowledge of the basics of forest management and technology of wood processing, use of non-timber forest utilities;knowledge of methods and rules of forest inventory and forest inventory;
• ability to compile current and annual reports of state forestry institutions, national natural parks and other profile enterprises;
• be competent in matters of forest policy, forest legislation and other regulatory and legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
