Organic fertilizer production based on local resources
Priority area: Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and safety of agricultural products

Project manager: Beletskaya N.P., PhD.
Project executors: Fomin I.A., Master, Nesterenko A.V.
Terms of execution: 2019-2021
Amount of financing: 60,000,000 tenge.
Project goal: Development of a technology for the production of balanced organic fertilizers from local resources for any agricultural plants for any soil and for obtaining ecologically clean products.
Expected Result: Increase in productivity and production of ecologically clean agricultural products.
Description of the project: This project provides for the development of a technology for the production of balanced organic fertilizers based on local resources. Local resources for the production of ecologically clean products include bottom silts of local freshwater bodies (including the most valuable of silts - sapropel), peat (raft), peat sapropel, vermicompost, ash from Ekibastuz coal, bird droppings, various additives that improve the composition and structure of soils (sand, phosphate rock, sawdust, etc.).
Sapropel is an almost ready-made fertilizer. For the convenience of using it at the production stage as a fertilizer, it is only sufficient to remove water to a commercial moisture content (60%)
Project objectives:
−to master the technology of sapropel extraction from the bottom of the lake (Lake Kishkibish under an agreement with the tenant A.I. Kutnyak, the lake is allocated with sapropel with a high humus content - up to 26%);
−to prepare the planned volumes of local resources, including organizing the extraction of sapropel from the bottom of the reservoir;−Purchase the necessary equipment, supplies and other materials for the production site;
−build on the shore of Lake Kishkibish a light structure (workshop, shed) for the production of fertilizers and fertilizer mixtures;−organize mixing, packaging, and other preparatory work for the sale of fertilizers and fertilizer mixtures, start their implementation.
