University Community Discusses Participation in the QS 2028 Ranking Cycle
Kozybayev University hosted a meeting with Sergey Khristolyubov, Regional Director of the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) ranking agency, dedicated to the University’s participation in the QS 2028 international ranking cycle.
The event was attended by Members of the University’s Executive Board, deans of faculties, directors of departments, and heads of academic departments.
The participants discussed current issues related to the University’s preparation for the upcoming QS ranking cycle, including changes in the assessment methodology and key ranking indicators, the University’s current performance across the main indicators, as well as approaches to improving performance in areas taken into account in international rankings.
Particular attention was paid to analyzing the performance indicators of Kozybayev University, identifying its strengths and areas for further development. Sergey Khristolyubov presented recommendations on data management and outlined practical steps that can be implemented by the University’s structural divisions as part of preparations for subsequent ranking cycles.
Kozybayev University continues its systematic efforts to strengthen its position in the international higher education landscape and enhance the University’s competitiveness.
