Huawei ICT Competition 2026–2027 Roadshow

Huawei held an educational event, Huawei ICT Competition 2026–2027 Roadshow, at Kozybayev University.

Students studying IT, electronics, telecommunications, and radio engineering learned about current trends in information and communication technologies, Huawei’s educational initiatives, and opportunities for professional development in the ICT sector.

During the meeting, Huawei Talent Ecosystem Development Manager Nursaya Aratbayeva spoke about the company’s history and key areas of activity, the work of Huawei ICT Academy, available educational courses, and certification programs.

Special attention was given to the international Huawei ICT Competition. Participants learned about the competition tracks, registration rules, selection stages, preparation for the competition, and opportunities to advance to the international level.

Huawei ICT Competition gives students an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in computer networks, cloud technologies, computing systems, artificial intelligence, and other promising fields. In the new season, the educational roadshow will cover 48 higher education institutions across the country.

Last year, more than 200 Kozybayev University students took part in the IT competition. This year, students were able to register as participants directly during the event using a QR code. All registered participants received gifts from the company.

The Roadshow also featured information about the AI-Sana program, a strategic initiative aimed at developing artificial intelligence competencies among students in Kazakhstan.

“We actively cooperate with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a memorandum has been signed. Last year, as part of AI-Sana, our company acted as an official partner and provided a platform for studying artificial intelligence courses,” said Huawei Talent Ecosystem Development Manager Nursaya Aratbayeva. More than 6,000 of our students have completed these courses.

A separate part of the meeting focused on career opportunities for young professionals. Company representatives explained how students can build their professional career paths and how education, certification, and participation in technology competitions can contribute to their future employment.
