International Experience — A Confident Step Towards a Successful Career

Thanks to more than 10 years of cooperation between Kozybayev University and the LOGO e.V. association, our students have the opportunity to undertake six-month paid internships at leading agricultural enterprises across Europe. Over this period, around 100 students have gained experience at agricultural enterprises in Germany, explored modern technologies, enhanced their professional skills, and acquired valuable experience working in an international environment. They have worked not only at large-scale agricultural enterprises, where they learned about modern vegetable production methods and innovative raw material processing standards, but also at small family farms specializing in the production of organic eggs and milk, as well as beekeeping.

This week, third-year students of the Faculty of Agrotechnology met with Hartwig Mennen, Chairman of the International LOGO e.V. Association. During the meeting, Mr. Mennen provided a detailed overview of the internship program in Germany, explaining the eligibility requirements, application procedures, and key stages of the competitive selection process. The discussion also covered internship conditions, participants' professional responsibilities, and the opportunities that international experience can offer.

In 2026, seven students from the Faculty of Agrotechnology are undertaking internships at agricultural enterprises in Germany. This represents an important step in their professional development. They are immersing themselves in the international agricultural sector, learning from leading European specialists, and broadening their horizons.

Such an internship is more than just work experience. It is a confident step towards professional excellence, global thinking, and sustainable agriculture.
