- selection of the correct methods of research, development and the development of new methods, theories, and models;
- theoretical and experimental study of astronomy and space physics phenomena and processes;
- treatment of the results of research to date and their analysis;
- application of research results to the solution of practical problems;
- design and manufacture of devices, appliances and equipment;
- writing and publishing scientific papers, preparation of research reports and papers in scientific conferences;
- pedagogical:
- providing training in physics and astronomy in secondary schools;
- development of new methods and techniques of teaching physics and astronomy, educational and training material;
- organizational and managerial activities (search, development, organization of rational management schemes in research, teaching and educational process, the introduction of international quality management system in accordance with the Standard ISO 9000:2000;
- engineering and design activities:
