The first admission in the specialty "Finance" was carried out in 1999. In 2002, the Department of Finance and Credit was established, which in 2016 was renamed the Department of Finance and Management. In 2018, the educational program "Management" was opened. The department continues the traditions of demanded, competent specialists in the financial sector. This is facilitated by cooperation on an ongoing basis with a branch of the National Bank and second-tier banks. The department has a branch opened on the basis of the branch of Bank CenterCredit JSC. The training of specialists is carried out by highly qualified teachers with extensive professional and teaching experience. The staff of the department is represented by a PhD doctor, candidates of sciences and masters in the field of economics and finance, leading active research activities. Classes are conducted using computer programs and interactive teaching aids. In the ranking of NCE "Atameken" among the educational programs of universities in Kazakhstan, the EP "Finance" took 7th place out of 74 in 2021.
