The graduate of given modular educational program is assigned an academic degree of “Bachelor of Education”.

Bachelors of natural sciences have the following key competencies in the field of:

1) native language (Kazakh or Russian)

to be able to express and understand notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the field of informatics in both written and oral ways (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and communicate linguistically in an appropriate way and artistically in all variety of social and cultural contexts: while studying, at work, at home and at leisure.

2) foreign languages

to have basic skills of communication in English language: to be able to understand, express and explain notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in both oral and written ways (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in an appropriate range of social and cultural contexts (in education and studying, at work, at home and at leisure). To have skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.

3) fundamental mathematical, natural scientific and technical knowledge

to be able and be ready to use educational potential, experience and personal qualities, gained during learning natural scientific disciplines at school, to determine methods of solving professional tasks and the development of natural scientific thinking, to control and estimate it.

4) computer knowledge

to be able to use modern information technologies for working, for leisure and communication confidently and critically, to have skills of using a computer for recuperation, presentation and information exchange, for talking and participating in cooperating companies with the help of Internet in the field of professional activities.

5) basic educational knowledge

to have basic knowledge in the field of mathematical and technical disciplines (sciences), which contribute a formation of high-educated broad-minded individuality with a culture of thinking; to realize a need in constant learning, to be able to find accessible opportunities; to aim and keep studying insistently.

6) social competencies

to know about social-ethic values, based on social opinion, traditions, social standards and to be able to navigate in their professional activity;
to be able to follow rules of business ethics, to know about ethic and legal rules of behavior;
to know traditions and culture of people of Kazakhstan;
to be tolerant to traditions and culture of world’s other nations;
to know the basics of a legal system and legislation of Kazakhstan;
to know tendencies of social development of the society;
to be able to navigate in various social situations adequately;
to be able to work in team, to defend their point of view correctly, to offer new solutions;
to be able to find compromises, to correlate a personal opinion with a collective’s opinion;
to aim to professional and personal growth.

7) economic and managing competencies

to know the basics of economic knowledge, to have an idea about management, marketing, finances, etc.
to know and understand purposes and methods of government regulation of economics, the role of government sector in economics.

“Bachelor of education” in educational program 5B011100 “Informatics” has the following special competencies:

to have skills of critical thinking, observancy, an ability of interpretation, analysis, making conclusions and estimation;
to have a creativity qualities: an ability of turning from one aspect to another, an ability of sharing ideas different from obvious, generally known, accepted, trivial or firmly established, an ability of seeing the bottom of the problem, an ability of resisting stereotypes;
to understand and to be able to occupy an active life position, to be able to behave independently towards other individuals, to aim to be a leader of the group or collective with doing no harm and following statutory regulations.
to demonstrate skills of using a system of subjective, psycho-pedagogical and methodical knowledge; skills of integrating knowledge from various fields of subjects during solving pedagogical matters, finding unusual and alternative solutions in pedagogical situations; skills of complex monitoring based on psycho-pedagogical diagnostics.
to demonstrate knowledge of methodic and methodology of scientific research activity, ability of using modern analysis methods, methods of estimation and interpretation of scientific-pedagogical research results, of checking and rating the correlation of theory and empirical data, of preparing a reporting documentation and of generalization of gained data in the form of scientific articles and reports.
demonstrate their understanding of nature and meaning of information in the development of modern information society, realize dangers and menaces in this process, follow basic demands of information safety.
demonstrate knowledge of languages of programming, software and their usage, an ability of transferring problems of other fields of subjects in a mathematical language and of using advantages of that transferring for solving them.
demonstrate skills of creating a present educational-organizing documentation (didactic, control and measuring materials, etc), skills of generalization and systematization their own and worldwide pedagogical experience, of using experience of high-qualified pedagogues on practice.
demonstrate skills of modern methodics and technologies of studying informatics for realization of educational programs of basic, elective courses and socialization processes, professional self-determination of students.
demonstrate skills of building pedagogical communication with students, teachers working in given class, parents; skills of choosing and using optimal forms and methods of informatics work out of the class and of the whole educational work; of communicating with parents, colleagues, social partners and professional communities for achieving a quality of educational process.
demonstrate ability to holistic and systemic analysis of modern life problems; skills of gaining new knowledge necessary for casual professional activity; ability to navigate in modern information flows and to adapt to dynamically changing phenomena, processes and skills necessary for self-education.
demonstrate ability to work in team, correctly to defend their point of view correctly, to offer new solutions; to be able to find compromises, to correlate a personal opinion with a collective’s opinion; to be ready to be socially responsible for results of their own professional labor.

“Bachelors of education” in specialty 5B011101 “Informatics and mathematics” have the following special competencies:

abilities to think logically, skills of communication, using this ability and its value;
abilities to understand the basics of mathematical models of a real object or a process, to be ready to use modeling for engineering objects and processes, for determining and predicting their attributes.

“Bachelors of education” in specialty 5B011103 “Informatics and programming” have the following special competencies:

demonstrate understanding of basic principles of difficult information systems, experience of work with these systems; to collect and interprete an information to form judgments while noting social and scientific reasons; ability of thinking with the help of abstract models.
demonstrate understanding of nature and meaning of an information in development of modern information society, realize dangers and menaces of this process, follow basic demands of information safety.
