The provision of first aid

A training on providing first aid was conducted by the faculty members of the Medical Faculty at Kozybayev University, including doctors of the highest and first categories, Marzhan Koyshina, Indira Alexeyenko, and Olga Shilkina, for PPP (Pedagogical and Professional Staff) and employees. The event took place in the new laboratory of the Medical Faculty, equipped with mock-ups of ambulances, mannequin simulators, and other necessary equipment.

The speakers vividly explained and demonstrated how to act in emergency situations: to perform urgent cardiopulmonary resuscitation before the arrival of doctors, ensure airway patency, and maintain blood circulation. They also demonstrated a set of measures aimed at assisting in cases of hypertensive crisis or bleeding, burns, and frostbite. As noted by the specialists, it is essential for everyone to know these actions, as they can help save a person's life in an emergency situation. In total, about 20 participants took part in the training.
