Webinar for scientists and students from a professor from China

The Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced a competition for grant funding for scientific and scientific-technical projects for 2020-2022. Participation in it, attracting financial resources for the development of the university is relevant and prestigious.

To date, the Department of Science of  M. Kozybayev NKSU together with the faculties are preparing for this competition. One such event is a webinar involving the Dean of the College of Agronomy of Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry of China, Dr. PhD Shan Weixing. He is a world famous scientist in the field of agriculture and a reliable partner of our university.

Together with teachers and students of the Agrotechnological Faculty of M. Kozybayev NKSU, they are implementing a project to grow sustainable domestic and Chinese varieties of crops. The practical base was Agrotehnopark, opened jointly with colleagues from the Middle Kingdom. Also, the Chinese side supplied our university with modern laboratory equipment for conducting experiments.

This time, Professor Veisin held a webinar for scientists not only from our university, but also colleagues from the Russian Federation, in particular, the Arctic State Agrotechnological University. He spoke about the international experience of filing an application for a grant competition for research projects. The audience discussed current trends in this area and the main difficulties faced by applicants. Sources of research names, abstracts and keywords, project structure, implementation dates, risk analysis and expected results were considered.
