The title of Associate Professor was awarded to the Dean of the FMNS, Candidate of Geographical Sciences Sergei Pashkov. This academic title is awarded by the Order of the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main criteria are achievements in the field of scientific and educational activities: writing a monograph or a textbook, publications in international scientific journals, which, according to the information base of Thomson Reuters, have a nonzero impact factor, as well as at least 10 scientific articles in publications recommended by the Committee for quality assurance in education and science.
Sergey Vladimirovich has been working at our university for 22 years. He has trained dozens of qualified specialists. His research interests are geoecology, anthropogenic transformation of geosystems for sustainable agricultural land use.
