Results of the «Clean Session» campaign
On February 15, 2023, M. Kozybayev SSU awarded letters of thanks to volunteer proctors by a Member of the Board of Academic Affairs R.S. Apergenova. During the winter session, volunteer proctors monitored compliance with the norms of academic integrity in exams. Five students of the Department of Special and Social Pedagogy took part in the "Clean Session" campaign: Anastasia Chizh DF-19; Lotz Maria DF-19; Dyusen Sabina SPS-21; Malinovskaya Valeria SPS-21 and Natalia Poteryaeva SPS-21.
Resume Creation Training
On February 17, 2023, a training «How to create a resume», «How to work on the platform Beam.kz» was held on the ZOOM platform for students of 3-4 courses. If compared with previous decades, the relevance of job search is now becoming one of the most important issues for current students and tomorrow's graduates. Results of the essay contest «I am against extremism and terrorism»
Currently, modern society is undergoing a transformation of the value system due to the modernization of public life. The processes of globalization in the economic, political, and cultural spheres, which draw the population of countries into migration flows of different nature and levels, lead to the complication of structural ties between specific societies and the entire community as a whole. The changes that are taking place are accompanied to a certain extent by tensions in interethnic relations, interethnic conflicts, which is why various opposition groups appear trying to achieve the desired result for them through extremism and terrorism.
On February 22, 2023 in order to provide student youth with the opportunity to express their attitude to the problem of extremism and terrorism, as well as to contribute to the agitation against the ideas of extremism and terrorism, the education of citizenship and responsibility based on the assertion of universal human values at the Department of «Special and Social Pedagogy» an essay contest «I am against extremism and terrorism» was organized and held.
According to the results of the essay contest, the nomination «Terrorism and extremism – evil against humanity» is awarded to Tomiris Shayakhanova; «Countering the spread of the ideology of terrorism and extremism» – Polina Dyldina; «I am for peace and tolerance» – Yulia Naumova; «I am a citizen of my country» – Natalia Poteryaeva; «I am against terror» – Alina Wright. The third place is awarded to Sabina Dyusen, Daria Zaitseva and Andrey Ustymchuk; the second place is awarded to Valeria Malinovskaya and Vyacheslav Tarannik, and the first place is awarded to Marina Shamsutdinova.

On February 27, 2023, the Faculty of Education held the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Pedagogical Education: Integration of Science and Practice". The conference was attended by leading scientists and specialists in the field of education of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus.
The purpose of the conference is to attract public attention to modern problems of education, the development of interregional, international cooperation, the exchange of experience between teachers.

On February 27, 2023, within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Modern Pedagogical Education: Integration of Science and Practice», the Department of Special and Social Pedagogy organized and held a round table «Actual issues of professional training of bachelors of the educational program 6B01902 "Defectology (speech therapy)", 6B01802 "Social pedagogy" through the improvement of educational programs in the light of modern requirements for the formation of competencies in a university graduate» with the participation of stakeholders.
The purpose of the round table was to review the main trends, challenges and new opportunities for improving and modernizing modern vocational education.
