20 сентября 2018 года студенты кафедры химии и химических технологий приняли участие в ежегодном легкоатлетическом кроссе среди студентов 1-го курса факультета математики и естественных наук, где заняли два места. В личном зачете среди девушек 1 место завоевала Косяцынская Ксения (группа ХБ-18), 2 место у Каримовой Динары (группа ХБ-18к-2).

6 сентября 2018 года Комитетом по контролю в сфере образования и науки Министерства образования и науки РК была выдана лицензия для занятия образовательной деятельности по специальности PhD-докторантуры 6D072100 Химическая технология органических веществ.

С 1 сентября 2018 года в штат сотрудников кафедры химии и химических технологий были приняты новые преподаватели: доцент, кандидат химических наук Жумабекова Арай Керимакыновна и преподаватель, магистр технических наук Мокшин Дмитрий Сергеевич.

Студентка нашей кафедры, Ерғали Данагүл гр.Хо-15-п, стала обладательницей медали конкурса «Лучший студент - 2018», проводимого общественным объединением «Мосты согласия», ее имя внесено в книгу  талантливых студентов «Жас қыран».

Студенты кафедры ХХТ Кенесова Дарига(гр. Х(о)-15п), научный руководитель к.х.н., доцент Лежнева М.Ю., и Каргина Марина(гр. Х(о)-15), научный руководитель к.х.н., доцент Голодова И.В., получили диломы III степени за участие в республиканском конкурсе научно-исследовательских работ студентов

12-13 апреля 2018 года в Алматинском технологическом университете состоялась республиканская олимпиада по специальности "Технология продовольственных продуктов". Команда Северо-Казахстанского государственного университета заняла призовое третье командное место. В личном зачете студентка группы ТПП-15 Огородникова Ольга заняла третье место. .
