Volunteers-proctors were awarded at the university

The winter session at Kozybayev University was held in an open format. The third-party observers and experts from the anti-corruption service attended the exams. There were also volunteer proctors from among the students. There were 61 people in total. They checked examination procedure for academic honesty (correspondence to the declared number of examinees, the presence of cheaters, cheat sheets, and more). Also the work of experts was checked. All this was carried out within the framework of the action "Clean session".

This week, the most active proctors were celebrated in a solemn atmosphere. The Member of the Board for Academic Affairs Renata Apergenova presented certificates to the students. In addition, during the meeting, there were raised issues of observance of academic honesty, obstacles in the activities of volunteers during the session. It should be noted that all comments and violations made during the exams were considered at a meeting of the Ethics Council and appropriate measures were taken to eliminate them. The transfer of Kozybayev University to the trust management of the University of Arizona was also discussed with the students.
