Marina Pogrebitskaya was included in the group of the best experts of the IAAR

Marina Pogrebitskaya, Director of the Department of Strategy and Quality of Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, is recognized as one of the best experts of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR). Such recognition and gratitude from the IAAR speaks not only about the high level of professionalism of the expert, but also about his active life position and significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan education.

During her professional career as an expert, Marina Vladimirovna has participated in the evaluation of more than 30 Kazakhstani and Russian universities, the development of regulatory documents and accreditation standards, and the training of experts. At M. Kozybayev NKU, she supervised the preparation for accreditation of 94 educational programs that were successfully accredited by Kazakh and foreign agencies.

Active participation in the development of the accreditation process allowed me to form new personal and professional competencies, gain invaluable experience and expand the range of professional contacts,» Marina Vladimirovna noted.

It should be noted that the accreditation system in Kazakhstan has gone through a rather difficult period of formation since 1999. Initially, accreditation developed as a state procedure and caused sharp criticism from the public. In 2004, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the Central Asian Management Development Fund CAMAN prepared the first group of expert auditors on the quality of business and economic education for public accreditation and conducted a number of accreditations of Kazakhstani business programs. Among them was Marina Vladimirovna. In 2005, the first audit experts joined the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of the procedure for the accreditation of universities.

Later, thanks to the experience of public accreditation, Marina Pogrebitskaya became an expert of the National Accreditation Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then an expert and a member of the Expert Council of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency. In addition, in 2012, she acted as an expert from the Agency for Public Quality Control of Education and Career Development (APQCECD, RF).
