With gratitude in my heart

«Day of Kazakhstan responsiveness», «day of grateful heart», «a holiday that cements friendship» - this is how the Day of Gratitude is called in our alma mater.

Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of associations of departments «Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan», chairmen of cultural centers of the region, honorary citizens of the North Kazakhstan Region, faculty, graduates and students of Kozybayev University gathered at the meeting «From heart to heart» dedicated to the Day of Gratitude in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Speaking online, Lieutenant General of Aviation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, commander of international crews Talgat Musabayev confidently said that when people of different nationalities combine their knowledge and efforts, success will be much greater and more significant.  The speaker spoke about the importance and significance of this holiday for the entire Kazakh people. «The Earth is a spaceship, and humanity is a crew. Having flown around our planet in 90 minutes, I can say that our Earth is small, there are no borders visible on it and we need to be able to prevent wars and conflicts on it,» the cosmonaut shared.

The participants of the event talked about charitable activities, ethno-confessional harmony, intercultural dialogue and the role of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in people's lives. Kazakhstanis have been famous for their hospitality and kindness for centuries. So, many deported peoples in the XX century found and found their home here. Koreans, Germans, Poles, Belarusians and many others still express gratitude to the Kazakh land.

«The holiday has fallen in love with many Kazakhstanis, because it gives an opportunity to thank each other for the help, mercy, social responsibility, solidarity. This day also allows us to recall historical milestones and return to the understanding that unity, kindness and harmony are the main values of our society,» said Lyudmila Grivennaya, Head of the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

It is important to say words of gratitude not only on March 1, but also every day!
