Once again among the best!

Kozybayev University students became prize-winners of the III International Distance Olympiad on International Financial Reporting standards for undergraduates and undergraduates of higher educational institutions not only in Kazakhstan, but also in foreign countries. The organizer was E.A.Buketov Karaganda University.

In the first round, the participants had to complete test tasks, and in the second - to solve 5 situational tasks. 4 students of the Department of Economics and Accounting adequately coped with all stages, losing in the results only to the hosts of the competition. The silver medalists were Ekaterina Sazonova, Alyona Zivinyuk and Dana Tleubaeva. Ilya Smagin is in third place.

«I haven't participated in such Olympiads before, but it's definitely a good experience. The tasks were difficult.  When solving problems, I was helped by the materials that teachers give us at lectures and practical classes. In general, the Olympiad aroused positive emotions in me,» said Ekaterina Sazonova, a 3-year student.

Participation in such competitions makes it possible to increase the competitiveness, the quality of training of qualified specialists, develop the creative abilities of students and contribute to their professional growth.

It can be noted that this is not the first subject Olympiad in economics, in which our students take an active part and show good results. This means that students of Kozybayev University have a high level of knowledge and are ready to compete with representatives of other universities on an equal footing!
