On March 10, 2022, in order to provide career guidance support to students in the process of choosing a profile of study and the scope of future professional activity, a teacher of the Department of Special and Social Pedagogy of the NJSC “SKU named after. M. Kozybaeva» Kiseleva O.S. a meeting was organized with students of the 11th grade of KSU "Secondary School No. 13" in Petropavlovsk.
The meeting was organized on the basis of the school. High school students paid attention to information about the areas of training implemented at the Faculty of Education and at this department, about modern library and information services provided to students, undergraduates and staff, about the possibility of academic mobility and teaching in different languages. They were especially interested in information about the employment opportunities for graduates in the educational programs "Special Pedagogy" and "Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge". Each student received important and necessary information, including in the form of booklets.
Summing up the results of the meeting with high school students, the teacher of the department "Special and Social Pedagogy" drew attention to the fact that for the well-being of society it is necessary that each school graduate finds a fuller application of his interests, inclinations, does not waste time, effort (and money) in vain searching for his place in the system of social production, where he could bring the greatest benefit and get deep satisfaction from his work.
