New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has addressed the people of Kazakhstan with a Message. It concerned the implementation of new political reforms and the solution of a number of socio-economic problems. The team of Kozybayev University discussed the most important policy document. The Board Chairman -Rector Yerlan Shulanov has noted that the Head of State came up with a number of initiatives in which he identified the main priorities for the development of the Republic. They will lead to consistent democratization and stability of the state.

“This is a large-scale document, which is the founder of the construction of New Kazakhstan. It covered very important topics. It is worth noting that since the election of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as the president of the country, a huge series of political transformations has begun. During this time there have been implemented four reform packages. The last message consolidated the work has already done by the state. This is a very worthy and necessary step,” said Sayagul Zhakezhan, a lecturer at the Department of HK&SHD.

The meeting participants have discussed issues related to the transformation of the political model of the development of Kazakhstan. They have touched upon the topics of improving the administrative-territorial structure of the country and changes in the electoral process.
