Constantly improving the competencies of staff and teachers is one of the important activities of our university. At the beginning of this academic year, more than 50 people received webinars from Nazarbayev University. The training was conducted within the framework of cooperation with this university on topical topics:

-Strategies and Approaches in Institutional Research and Analytics;

-Management of PhD programmes;

-Professor workload: balancing teaching, research and service;

-Research and development of research collaborations (approaches, domestically and globally).

The webinars also covered how to publish in international journals; how to manage research at school and departmental level; and how to conduct research in the social and STEM sciences. At the end, our staff defended their projects in front of a panel from Nazarbayev University. Today, all those who completed the training received long-awaited certificates confirming their completion of the webinars.
