5 years towards modernization

Yelbasy's programme article "A Glance into the Future: Modernization of Public Consciousness" (Rukhani zhangyru) is an important document which reflects concrete steps in the country's development. It should be noted that for their contribution to its implementation, letters of thanks from the SKO Akim were awarded to Anatoly Pleshakov, candidate of historical sciences, Zhanar Talaspayeva, candidate of philological sciences, and Gulgul Tulesheva, teacher of the journalism department.

Since 2018, the Rukhani Zhangyru Institute of Social and Humanitarian Research has been operating at our university.  In accordance with the plan for the fifth anniversary of the programme, the university will hold events in six areas and 17 special projects.

One of them was the dialogue platform "Spiritual modernization - the most important vector of Kazakhstan's development at the present stage". Informative reports were delivered at the event.

Asiya Ermisheva, Director of the Scientific Library of Kozybayev University, said in her speech: "As part of this project, textbooks from the world's best universities have been translated into Kazakh. Our library has all the tranches. In particular, books from the project 'New Humanitarian Education. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language". This is a good impulse for formation of modern thinking and culture among young people. There are more than a million textbooks in the scientific library under the Rukhani Zhangyru programme.

In the second part of the seminar, special collections were handed out. Historians of our university in 2020 took part in ethnological expedition to Ualikhanovskiy district. By results the collection of materials "Saltustik kazakhstan dan men dastur" was issued. Two copies were presented to one of the authors, Roza Kusbekova, bearer of intangible cultural heritage, and Raushan Baimuldina, head of the Centre of Social Development and Information, for their great contribution to the development of the sacred programme.
