One step closer to the stars

Everyone dreams of getting closer to space and learning about the mysteries of the universe. Children were able to realize such dreams during the excursion to our observatory. Pupils and students plunged into the fantastic world of the galaxy. First, in the projection room, a real starry sky appeared above them. The Moon, Jupiter, Venus and many other objects of outer space were as on the palm of their hands. The children were able to learn their zodiacal constellations and their history, the reasons for the brightness of certain celestial bodies, the number of stars that appear every day. For many it was a discovery that they, like planets, have their own satellites.

Young astronomers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the main satellite of the Earth. And all thanks to our telescope. The most important thing is to set it correctly, and then the actual distance to the moon is many times shorter. Looking through the eyepiece, it seems that just stretch out your hand and you can easily touch it. This was noticed by many schoolchildren.
