Discussion club «Arman-Otan-Mangi el»

The “Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan” department tested a new form of work with kandas from Mongolia, China, Uzbekistan and Iran, studying at the Foundation faculty. During this academic year, with the involvement of the departments "Practical Kazakh language", "Kazakh language and literature" and the North Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local Lore, the discussion club "Arman-Otan-Mangi el" operated at the university, where topical topics were raised. Among them: "Kazakhs of the world: what unites us?", "Kandastar: problems of returning to their historical homeland, adaptation and integration" "Kazakh language and communication problems", "Traditions of the Kazakh people: image or rationalism?", "Kazakh mentality: conservatism or transformation?”, “Family values ​​of the Kazakh people: return to the origins and “Westernization”, “Religious beliefs of the Kazakhs: Islamic traditions and problems of radicalization”.

Students of the Faculty of the Foundation were given the opportunity to express their point of view. The most active participants were Aizhan Toleuzhan and Abdurahim Rakhmberdiev. As a result of heated debate, the truth and understanding was born that unity and harmony in Kazakhstan, which is a common home and homeland for representatives of more than 130 nationalities, depends on the unity and preservation of the cultural heritage of the state-forming ethnic group - the Kazakhs.

According to the guys, the most important thing for the Kazakh people today, in the context of all-consuming globalization, is not to “dissolve” in the flow of history, to preserve the valuable that was accumulated by previous generations. Be patriotic, but, at the same time, be able to use the achievements of world civilization and the latest technologies for the benefit, be open and flexible, rational and humane.
