Academician, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, professor, famous scientist and journalist Zarkyn Taishybay celebrated his 80th anniversary. The management of Kozybayev University, representatives of the media, the scientific community, colleagues and students from different regions of Kazakhstan honored the hero of the day.

Gani Nygymetov spoke on behalf of the North Kazakhstan region akim. He noted that the merits of the professor are very significant and valuable for our region: “You are a great scientist, for many years you have written a large number of scientific articles on the culture and history of Northern Kazakhstan, which have become spiritual food for historians and writers, local historians and researchers. Thanks to tireless work, you have left an indelible mark on the humanitarian and social spheres of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

Recall that Zarkyn Taishybay has been working at our alma mater since 1997. He is not only an honorary teacher, but also the organizer of journalism education in the republic. Thanks to his participation, the specialty "Journalism" was opened at Buketov University, as well as at our university. His rich practical experience in the media allows him to organize and conduct classes at a high professional level. Many well-known current journalists rightly consider him their mentor.

Zarkyn Syzdykovich also made a significant contribution to the development of science. He translated textbooks for universities from Russian into Kazakh. He is the author of more than 200 scientific articles, 12 textbooks and 11 monographs on the history and culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, many of which are devoted to the North Kazakhstan region. The works of the professor were highly appreciated and recognized both in scientific and reader circles.

Zarkyn Taishybai was awarded the badges "Honorary Worker of Education of Kazakhstan", "Honorary Journalist of Kazakhstan", "Sanlaq Author" named after. A. Baitursynov, the medal "Kazakh tilinin zhanashyry", diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the MIS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, diploma of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.

At the event, the hero of the day was awarded another badge from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "For contribution to the development of science." Congratulations, we wish you good health and new scientific achievements!
