For practical training to the Charyn Canyon and Burabay

The students of the department "Geography and Ecology" did not miss this opportunity to mix business with pleasure and went to offsite practical training in Almaty and Burabay. Future teachers of geography observed the landscape change of natural areas in the Charyn Canyon, the Ile-Alatau National Park, and the Kapchagai Reservoir. In the southern capital we visited Medeu, Kok-Tobe, museums and a botanical garden.

A group of environmental students with a teacher I.V.Lapteva visited the city of Burabay. It was informative for the students to see the cave of Kenessary, the shore of the blue bay, Bolektau mountain, and Zhumbaktas rock. They have got acquainted with the flora and fauna, daily conducted ecological observations. This practice not only expands the horizons of students, but also contributes to the development of their independent work. During practical training, the students learn to select and systematize information, to apply their theoretical knowledge, and to study technology and equipment.
