On holding a competition for the award of the grant of academician Manash Kozybayev, the grant of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU, on accepting applications from students applying for a discount on tuition fees

Dear students!

According to the results of the summer examination session of the 2021-2022 academic year, a competition was announced for the award of the grant of academician Manash Kozybayev, the grant of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU.

Award of the grant of academician Manash Kozybayev (without a scholarship). 

Award of a grant by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU (without a scholarship).

List of required documents:

1. Application of a student on a paid basis addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU for participation in the grant award competition.
2. The student's transcript.
3. A copy (photo) of the student's identity document.
4. Copies of supporting documents: copies/photos of title pages of scientific papers, diplomas, certificates, commendations, certificates.
5. Documents confirming the social status of the student. 

The deadline for accepting documents for participation in the competition: from 03 to 19 August 2022 to 13.00 hours.

From 08/03/2022 to 08/19/2022 inclusive, applications from students applying for a discount on tuition fees at Bursar's Office will be accepted.

3) Supporting documents in accordance with the types of discounts:

1. Persons left without parental care, orphans are given a discount of 10% of the tuition fee for the entire period of study; those who successfully passed the examination sessions for the academic year with grades A, A- A discount of 20% of the tuition fee for one academic period, provided that the student did not retake the final control with a rating of "FX", "F" corresponding to the equivalent of "unsatisfactory"

• a copy of the birth certificate;
• a copy of the death certificate of both parents and/or the only parent, and/or a copy of the document confirming the deprivation of the rights of the parent by a court decision, and/or a copy of the document confirming the appointment of a guardian by a court decision.

2. Persons with disabilities are granted a discount of 10% of the tuition fee for one academic period, provided that the student has only grades A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+ and did not retake the final control with an assessment of "FX", "F" corresponding to equivalent to "unsatisfactory":

3. Children of employees of M. Kozybayev NKU are given a discount of 10% of the tuition fee for one academic period, provided that the student has only grades A, A-, B+, B and did not retake the final control with an assessment of "FX", "F" corresponding to the equivalent of "unsatisfactory":

• a copy of the birth certificate;
• a certificate confirming the employment of a parent in the M. Kozybayev NKU.

4. Representatives of families studying at M. Kozybaev SKU at the same time two or more family members (each family member) are granted a discount of 10% of the tuition fee for one academic period when providing supporting documents and provided that students have only grades A, A-, B+, B and not passed the retake of the final control with an assessment of "FX", "F" corresponding to the equivalent of "unsatisfactory":

• a copy of the birth certificate of the students.

5. Representatives of large families, as well as families (4 or more minor children or full-time students under the age of 23), as well as families in which both parents are persons with disabilities or pensioners, are provided with a discount of 5% of the tuition fee for the academic year when providing supporting documents and when provided that the student has only grades A, A-, B+, B and did not retake the final control with an assessment of "FX", "F" corresponding to the equivalent of "unsatisfactory":

• a certificate of family composition indicating the years of birth and/or a copy of the birth certificate (of the children); and/or a copy of the pension certificate; and/or a copy of the MAC certificate, a certificate of disability of the parents.

6. The winners and prize-winners of the republican subject Olympiads and the Republican competition of research papers are provided with a one–time discount for one academic period: for the 1st place – in the amount of 10% of the tuition fee; for the 2nd place – in the amount of 7% of the tuition fee; for the 3rd place - in the amount of 5% of the tuition fee:

7. Holders of the sign "Altyn Belgi" are provided with a one-time discount for one academic period in the amount of 20% of the tuition fee:

8. Athletes, members of the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan participating in the World Championships are granted a discount of 10% of the tuition fee for one academic period:

• a copy of the certificate (diploma, certificate) confirming the membership of the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan and participation in the World Championships.

9. Persons left without parental guardianship, orphans, as well as persons with disabilities are granted a discount of 50% of the cost of one loan for the provision of additional educational services (elimination of academic differences, transfer of prerequisite disciplines):
