We are at the top: always, everywhere and in everything

One of the university's favorite traditions has been the Gymnastics Show. More than 30 years ago, it was founded by Professor Victor Tulaev of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical and Military Education. It is a truly grand celebration of sport, which includes vivid acrobatic performances, strength exercises and a fighting team spirit.

"Gymnastic shows and gymnastics in general are the finest expression of human culture. Their origins can be traced back to the organization of the Olympic Games in ancient Greece. It is a celebration of agility, a celebration of strength, endurance, beauty, physical and moral health," shared PF Dean Liana Dobrovolskaya.

This year, the event was attended by 5 student teams of the University, as well as students of specialized boarding school-college of the NKR Olympic reserve. For demonstration performances were invited candidates for the master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics, combined team on Street Workout NKR and others.

Participants of gymnastic competition by means of difficult supports-built pyramids, overcame an obstacle course, did somersaults, competed in relay race. The boys managed to show good results.

Third place was taken by 3rd year students of the PCS-20 group. Second place went to the team of second-year students in Physical Education and Sports. Boys from Olympic Reserve School were the winners.

In the individual event in the exercises:
- on the crossbar - the whole podium was taken by students of our university Rustam Alpysov, Igor Kluk, Vasily Lugovyh and Yerlan Umarov.
- on pommel horse - the winner was Aman Rakhmetov (PCS-21), the second place was Abylaykhan Sakhabin (specialized boarding school-college of Olympic reserve of NKR), the bronze medalist was Vitaly Chirva (Team NKU named after M. Kozybaev).
