Z.Taishybaіs' scholarship established

Students of our university have more and more opportunities for free education. This time the students of the Journalism educational program were lucky. A personal scholarship of Zarkyn Taishybai, professor of Kozybayev University was additionally established for them.

Zarkyn Syzdykovich is an academician, veteran of labor, scientist, writer, public figure, mentor of many famous journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who made a unique contribution to the development and formation of domestic journalism. Zarkyn Syzdykovich is still teaching at the university, sharing his knowledge and invaluable experience. He allocates 45,500 tenge from his personal funds to pay for the student's studies during the semester. He plans to continue this initiative in the future. "I decided to support the students, give them additional motivation to study well. The scholarship is awarded in order to encourage students who stand out for their abilities. I hope it will increase the desire of young people for education," the professor said.

Among 113 people studying at the department of Journalism, one was chosen whose academic performance and practical professional skills were the highest. Third-year student Ulan Ydyris has an excellent GPI level, takes an active part in the release of the student program "Parasat". All this allowed the guy to get a personal scholarship: "This is a great success and a great responsibility, which motivate me to become a strong specialist in my field. I think I will reach this level thanks to my teachers".
