Improving the system of training specialists for public administration

A memorandum of cooperation between Kozybayev University and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed in Astana. Our university, among other Kazakhstan universities that carry out master's and doctoral studies in the areas of "Public Administration", "State and Local Administration", "Human Resource Management", expects a number of innovations.

The Memorandum provides for collaboration in the field of scientific research, development and implementation of joint educational programs, creation of a pool of experts in the field of public administration, civil service and HR. Now undergraduates and doctoral students will study new approaches to the management system, will have the opportunity to do practical trainings and internships in government agencies. At the signing ceremony, the Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Public Service Affairs Azamat Zholmanov and Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek made a welcoming speech.

"Currently, more than 30 universities in our country are training specialists in the field of public administration. As part of the execution of the instructions of the Head of State, together with the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is necessary to update the educational program in this direction. In today's world, the power of digital technology is changing the world. Accordingly, the civil service must be ready for global changes. As part of the joint work, our undergraduates and doctoral students will be engaged in applied scientific research in the field of public service and HR," the minister said.

After signing, the parties discussed the Roadmap for the implementation of activities under the Memorandum.
