MBA day at the university

On this day, our university hosted a series of master classes and meetings of students and teaching staff, as well as entrepreneurs of the North Kazakhstan region with business coaches of Almaty Management University (AlmaU). The signed memorandum of cooperation between the two educational institutions will allow the opening of a joint MBA (General MBA) program at Kozybayev University.

Recall that the MBA (master of business administration) is a master's degree in management, which trains general managers to work in various fields of activity. The duration of study is from 1 to 3 years.

"Our university has entered a new stage of its transformation in the last few years. It tries to be more modern, trending, and adaptive. Now we understand that if we want the regional economy to grow, we need new products that will help the local business community. We are launching our collaboration with AlmaU, which is sure to result in a big serious project. Gradually, we will build our local brand of business education," said the Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerlan Shulanov.

President and founder of Almaty Management University (AlmaU) Asylbek Kozhakhmetov told about the oldest private university in the country. Knowledge and skills are the most reliable asset, it cannot be lost. However, in the modern world, knowledge quickly becomes obsolete, so they need to be updated regularly.

The participants of the MBA day were able to learn a lot of new things in the master classes "Systematization as a tool for company growth" and "Innovations in Marketing for sales growth". The classes were conducted by well-known Kazakhstani business coaches Dmitry Gusenko and Timur Sabitov. Now entrepreneurs of the region, startups, and representatives of the fields of marketing, management, and business will be able to invest in their knowledge and skills by studying under the MBA program at Kozybayev University.
