Republican Student Olympiads at Kozybayev University

Three Republican student Olympiads in astronomy, defectology, and information and communication technologies were held at once based at Kozybayev University. About 100 children from different parts of Kazakhstan came to Petropavlovsk. More than 20 teams were formed.

IT specialists had to take a test and demonstrate their programming skills. According to the results of the two rounds, the Astana International University team became the best. Toraighyrov University student Arslan Cairo won the individual competition. And this means that next year programmers will compete in the walls of Pavlodar University.

There are only two higher educational institutions in the country that conduct training in the astrophysical direction. These are Kozybayev University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. However, only North Kazakhstan students were able to attend the Astronomy Olympiad. 4 teams were represented.

The XV Republican Subject Olympiad in the field of training "Defectology" became more numerous and spectacular. It was attended by children from Karaganda, Pavlodar, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktobe, and other cities. There are 8 teams in total. The purpose of the event was to spread and popularize the achievements of special and inclusive education, and the development of cognitive and creative abilities of students. Fariza Netebai from Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov won the intellectual competition. In the team competition, first place was taken by the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.
