The 3rd international Gumilevskaya online English Olympiad "Language in the modern world"

On April 15, 2023, the 3rd international Gumilevskaya online English Olympiad "Language in the modern world" was held among students of 1-2 courses of non-linguistic specialties of universities of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad.

The International Olympiad was held in two rounds. Of the 5 declared participants of the NKU named after M.Kozybaev, four went to the 2nd round: Amirhossein Moghaddasi Bardar, gr. APO-22, Kuchmezov Oleg, gr. APO-22 under the leadership of MP, Art. Chairman of the Department "Foreign Languages" Ismagambetova L.S.; Eremenko Pavel, gr. ISU (US) -22, Khromenko Julia, gr. PvO-22, head Fedorova A.T., teacher of the department "German-Roman philology." In total, there were over 250 participants.

As part of the first round, listening and reading were carried out. In the second round, students demonstrated knowledge and communication skills in English on the topic "Language in the Modern World."

Winners of diplomas of 1 and 3 degrees were:

1st place - Eremenko Pavel, gr. ISU (US) -22;

3rd place - Khromenko Julia, gr. PvO-22.

All winners were awarded diplomas of the first, second and third degrees, students who went to the second round received certificates. Letters of thanks were noted by teachers who successfully prepared participants, as well as educational organizations whose students took part in the Olympiad.
