Support for startups of students

The winners of the scientific start-up projects competition, which is held annually by the Council of Young Scientists among students of 1-3 courses, received 50 thousand tenge each. This time, 13 applications were submitted from children with AF, FMNS, FEDT, including those studying at joint educational programs with the University of Arizona. The projects could be both individual and group.

The competition commission evaluated the works according to the following criteria: scientific novelty, technological features and uniqueness of the project, practical significance, profitability, the expected social effect of implementation, the quality of the presentation itself and the degree of knowing the material.

The best became:
1. Anna Valeva, Yana Efremova (FMNS), "General Geographic Atlas of the North Kazakhstan region";
2. Svetlana Danish, Nina Kuznetsova (AF), "Technology of production of edible food shells using carrageenan and assessment of their impact on the quality of the finished product";
3. Alina Zhabina, Olesya Cherepitskaya (FMNS), "New cosmetics based on medicinal and vegetable raw materials: apples of the "Black Prince" variety;
4. Rustam Alpysov (FMNS), "The use of birch shoot extract as a reducing agent for the synthesis of biogenic nanoparticles";
5. Stanislav Bondarev (FEDT), "RoadToolAI Platform".

The winners will be able to use the received funds for the further development of ideas. Within a year, they must receive an act of introducing their product at enterprises working in this area, or publish an article about the results of the study in a journal recommended by CQAFSHE.
