A flower bouquets and bright smiles, beautiful girls and handsome boys, warm hugs and memories of the past years of study. It's all about the "Class of 2023" ceremony!
For three days in the assembly hall of the main building, happy graduates received long-awaited diplomas. And their parents, friends and relatives could watch the celebration live on the central square of the campus and the classrooms of AB No. 1 on LED screens.
This year of graduation has become special not only for the university, but also for the entire region. The Medical Faculty sends its first specialists on a long voyage. Now they are waiting for an internship, residency, but the main knowledge base has already been formed. More than 160 students have received a bachelor's degree in general medicine. Among them are citizens of India.
"Our journey from 2018 to today has been extraordinary. It was marked by challenges, triumphs, and a global crisis. We coped with the language barrier, adapted to the new culture, and were away from our families. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kazakhstan, who welcomed us with warm embraces, thanks to your kindness and hospitality, Kazakhstan has become a second home for us. I want to wish you a happy future," said graduate Rafor Mahendr Pratap Singh.
In total, over 500 people received diplomas on the first day. Of these, 92 are undergraduates from all faculties, the rest are graduates of the undergraduate AF, FHEL and MF (Russian and Kazakh departments).
The Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector Renata Apergenova congratulated the happy holders of documents on higher education. Antje Kunkis, Senior Director of the Gray HR Business Unit of CLAAS, Aigul Muratova, Head of the city branch of Bank CenterCredit JSC, Daniyar Ualiev, Director of NIS, and others also spoke with words of support and parting words. Graduates who succeeded not only in their studies, but also in science and public life received diplomas from the hands of Board members and deans.
The next day, the LLI and the FMNS received their diplomas. The ceremony of 2023 was completed by students from the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies, Pedagogical and Medical faculties.
The graduates coming out of the building, with brand-new diplomas in their hands, were greeted with flowers and applause. They will remember this day for a long time!
In total, 1,686 students graduated from the alma mater this year, 477 of them with red diplomas. Now there is a whole world ahead, open for professional and personal growth! We believe in you!
