Meet Lisa Badura and Annette Handshu, undergraduates who came to us from the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart (Germany). Their scientific internship in the North Kazakhstan Region is aimed at studying and analyzing research in the field of organic farming and sustainable development of Kazakhstan. It includes visits to agricultural enterprises in the region. Interns have already taken part in events from the company "Nordagrochem", "Baydala", "Etalonagrochem". They also visited IE "Strelets". The company specializes in the cultivation of soil worms for the production of vermicompost. In addition, German colleagues are going out and conducting experimental work at the Agrobiological Station of the university.
A few months earlier, our teacher of the Department of "Agronomy and Forestry" Aldiyar Bakirov and a master's student of the EP "Agronomy" Dias Alzhanov completed a scientific internship in Germany. Such an exchange became possible due to the fact that AF successfully passed the competitive selection and became an official partner of the ASA Engagement Global Foundation, which provides scholarships to young scientists to exchange experience in the study and application of innovative technologies of organic agriculture.
